C hoose a fundraising goal, upload a photo, and add a brief description letting your friends and family know why you are running for the WISH Drop-In Centre. Once you have completed registration and paid the fee, you are ready to edit your fundraising page. IMPORTANT: if you create your own team, make sure to select WISH Drop-In Centre Society as the “preferred fundraising organization for this team.” You can “create a new Charity Challenge fundraising team” (use this option if you are organizing a group of people to walk or run together), or “join an existing Charity Challenge team” (use this option to join the WISH Drop-In Centre Society team or WISH Staff & Volunteers team). When you get to the “General & Charity Challenge Fundraising Teams” section, you have two options. If left blank, your race bib will only have your bib number on it. You will also be asked for your Name on Bib, using your first name or a nickname works well. If you are running a virtual race, we recommend that you use a running app to record your results. Choose whether you’ll run in-person or virtually and then select your distance. If you prefer, you can log-in using your Facebook account. The 5K begins in front of the Museum of Vancouver. There is a new course for the 5K, and a few changes have been made to the half-marathon course. That’s why we are so excited that Charity Challenge (previously the Scotiabank Charity Challenge) is back in person!
